Tier 2 Visa extension time line

Hi Guys
I am waiting to hear back for visa extension application.
i have submitted my documents on 31 Oct and gave my biometrics on Nov 09 , 2019. Still there is no response from the home office.
How long should i wait before i call and check ?

If you applied using standard service, it takes 8 weeks.
