ILR with a fixed term contract

Post by jvjroop » Fri Dec 13, 2019 5:48 pm

Hi
Can anyone please let me know if they had a similar situation as me,
I am on a fixed term contract untill sept 2022. i will be eligible for ILR, i believe from 2nd sept 2020 (as my entry visa is from 29th sept 2015 and i started my job on 1st oct 2015, am i right?).
If i ask my HR, they will give me a letter for employment i believe stating that i am on a fixed term contract ending 1st sept 2022. will this be enough for my ILR application to be successful when i apply next year? did any one face similar situation?

Thank you

As per rules, your employer should need you for the foreseeable future. That is the opposite of a 'fixed term' contract :?

Yes. ILR is granted only to people who are needed without a fixed term limit
