URGENT! PGWP extension

Hi guys,
I completed a 1 year (3 semester course) from a university in Quebec, and I received a 1 year post graduate work permit. However, some one my friends from other universities with 8-month program received a 1.5 or 3 year work permit. So I was wondering if I was supposed to get more than a 1.5 too. We did have classes in the 3rd semester.
By the way, if you have similar situation and solved it through the lawyer, could you recommend the lawyer to me?

Not many members have knowledge of Canadian immigration.
By the way, if you have similar situation and solved it through the lawyer, could you recommend the lawyer to me?
