If you are an Irish citizen you can't apply for EU FAM card for your spouse in Ireland. EU FAM card can be applied if you were living in another EU country and wanted your spouse to join you there.

You can’t apply for EUFAM if Irish citizen in Ireland. You need to be any other European Union nationality for her to be eligible

Well as others have mentioned, if she already has stamp 4 as spouse of Irish citizen, she is unable to apply for Eufam. It wouldn’t make any sense.

In any case, Serbia is a Visa-required country for UK so to enter the country legally you would need to apply for the Standard Visitor Visa.

Hope this helps.

They can apply for an EEA Permit. The required documents are very similar but the EEA Permit is free.

Ah ok, just by ‘visiting for weekend’ it wasn’t clear to me from the post that it was in relation to family. Thought was general purpose. Thanks

The EEA Family Permit can be used for general visit purposes. The permit allows the applicant to travel to the UK within the next six months regardless of reasons (although the primary function for the permit is to allow them to settle in the UK).

Agree with above, caution with UK visits, unsure of what is going to happen after 31st Jan.
