Spouse visa entry outside UK - can we keep passport for short travel

Post by Pikachu9151 » Mon Jan 20, 2020 5:17 am

Hello

Applying first time for U.K. spouse visa outside U.K.
As the application time is 3-6 months,
Can I keep my passport for a very short trip ( not going to U.K.)

I see VFS global has a keep your passport service for an extra fee

Thank you

If you are not submitting the application as priority then you can use the "keep passport service".
Note that when decision is made you then have to take the passport back to the VAC.

Spouse Visa - Entry clearance - dependent children

Post by Pikachu9151 » Tue Jan 21, 2020 10:29 am

Hi

My husband is British Citizen by Descent so we have to apply the visa for our children as well.

I have added my children on the online form as dependents who will be travelling with me to the UK
However, the form financial requirement threshold is just showing 18,600 and the application fee is just for 2 person

Do I have to apply for them separately or how to attach them to my application?

Thank you very much!

Sorry a typo,

the financial requirement is just 18600, not including the children
the application fee is just for 1 person

You need to complete a separate form for EACH applicant.
Char (CR001 not Casa)
