Applying for Tier 2 dependant work visa when main Tier 2 General Visa expiry is due in less than 10 months

I have a question on applying Tier 2 dependent work Visa when the main Tier 2 General Visa has less than 10 months for expiry.

For applying the dependent work Visa, should there be a minimum time period to be left for an employer sponsored Tier 2 visa to get expired?

The scenario is that the Tier 2 general visa holder is getting married in May 2020 and hence planning to apply Tier 2 dependent work Visa for the spouse after the marriage. But Tier 2 visa is due to expire in February 2021. Would having only less than 10 months of expiry be a problem for getting the Tier 2 dependent work Visa issued?

No. Dependent will get a visa with the same expiry date as your visa.
