Tier 2 PBS dependent visa application IHS charges

Hi Moderators,

In my scenario, my wife( main applicant) is applying for Tier 2 General visa after getting COS from an UK employer. She has 2 dependent(Husband and 3 year old son) and we all are applying together from India.

start date of job - 01/01/2020
End date of job - 01/01/2022

When we filled main applicant application, IHS was correctly calculated which is INR 77528 i.e. 800 Pounds for 2 years. But now when i am trying to submit dependent application (on same date we filled wife's application), it is asking for expiry date of main applicant's visa. As she is also applying for visa i am not sure what date should i provide here?

When i put end date on her CoS ( which is 01/01/2022), IHS fees is coming about INR 96910 i.e. 1000 pounds which is 200 pounds more.

when i tried to put end date of her Visa as 7th Dec 2021, then IHS is coming correctly i.e. INR 77528 i.e. 800 Pounds.

Can you please suggest where i may be doing mistake?

i have same situation .

I talked to one Visa consultant and he suggested that put end date in a way so IHS come same as my wife and in cover latter mention the same and also mention if i need to pay more for IHS, i am ready to pay.

I am going to do the same for now.

I see, i just paid what ever they asked to pay ,
After visa approval , you can calm later based on time visa approval and they charge more.
May due to system bug , how we can know visa expired date without approval

Yes, i will also pay whatever they are asking to pay.. once visa in my hand, i will ask them to return this excess amount

Any update on visa status , i applied on 24-12-2019, still waiting for status.

i got visa, anyone know how to refund IHS charges.?

I also got my visa/ as they gave visa for 2 years 1 week not sure if they will return extra IHS fee

total 400 pounds extra i paid for 2 dependent.

same for me . they gave me Visa for 3 year and 1 week , so not sure what next step.
