Hi There,

This is a generic mail format and a saved verison from Team 3 dept., even same commos, pullstops.. etc

i got the same mail from last 4 times in 4 different months without a single word changes.

it really hurts to see the same mail again and again.

Thanks,
H
I got the same today.. any improment about your application? When did you apply?
Hi There,

I applied in November 2018.
No Improvement, even i got the same mail from Team 3 last week :(

Thanks,
H
hey,
I applied in March 2017, it took 3 year to finalize the application. I would suggest do not believe them what they say over the e mail or phone. its all bout the luck.
Thank you,
C
And you got your citizenship after all those years? And nay explanation why it takes too long?

So i emailed this morning after my sisters news to ask has my application been approved and got a reply that I will "receive a correspondence from this office in the coming days" from team 5.

I hope this is information that i will be getting an approval letter from them in the post soon? Has anybody got this reply before?
Yesterday I got the same reply as yours via email. And today I received a letter with approval and request to pay 950 eur
That's amazing 😊 congratulations! Will be waiting on the post man the next few days

So I got my approval on Jan 8th and send the fee and IRP on the very same day. My IRP was expiring on 28th Jan but I've sent it anyway.

Today I received a letter from the department stating that I am scheduled for the ceremony on 2nd of March and asking for my permission to remain to be extended.

I went to local immigration officer right away and got a stamp on my passport. And going to send a copy to the department tomorrow.

I know there are many people with an expired IRP here so I hope this helps!

Is it invitation letter with a specific time slot or a letter for asking you to renew your GNB before inviting you.TIA

It is not an invitation letter. Just a regular letter. Probably they will issue invitations next week.

Yes, my wife is waiting since January 2018 and we got an email yesterday that the application is still in process. We have now started looking at the options available to move things forward.

Hi - Does anyone know what the situation is when our replies come from Team 7? I've been emailed to see I've been passed the second stage, and told on phone it would be going to Minister. But that was in November. Any ideas?

I applied in May 2018. Got an email reply yesterday that says 'Continue to be processed' - however, got a letter reply dated 28Jan which says:
The Delay in processing this file is regretted, however, it is the case when an application is submitted to the Minister. We are obliged to ensure that all relevant information is available to the Minster in order for him to make a fully informed decision. Your patience is appreciated in this matter.
Yours Sincerely,

CitizenShip - CMU4

I am very confused now about different replies. Now the next step is I am going to apply for FOI soon and then will go for Judicial review if nothing happens in the next 6-9 months.

My husband got 10 days notice and I think some folks got less (for December ceremony) so I do not expect the letters until next week or the week after tbh. And we have no idea how many ceremonies or people so I am trying not to get my hopes up at all.
Good luck to everyone.

I received mail regarding fee and IRP card to be send yesterday but now away from Ireland on business trip and will be away till the week after.
It means will not make it within 10 days limit and probably will miss march ceremony :(

Does it mean that I can not travel outside Ireland until the ceremonies in August or there is the way to travel while Irish Passport application is finished? Have already 5 days trip booked in April.

You can not travel (with exceptions) once you hand over your IRP card, otherwise you should be fine. I'd imagine for August ceremonies they would send letters in June/July, so April trip shouldn't be a problem.
