Which visa for family

Post by haleema72 » Tue Feb 04, 2020 1:58 pm

Hi
Please can you help me .
I have my ILR application approved on a Tier 2 visa.
My husband is staying with me since November 2015 .
We all entered the Uk in March 2014 but he left and finally came in 2015 and has stayed since then.
My question is as the visa is expiring on 10 March can he apply for ILR or extension ?
And which application can we fill ILR or FLR ?
Can you please advise?
Thank you
Haleema.

Did he come to the UK as a tier 2 dependent in 2014??

There is no absence limit for those whose visas were issued before 11 January 2018.

For PBS Dependent, the ILR qualifying period starts from the initial visa ISSUE date.

If he came to the UK with you in 2014 on the dependent visa, he could have applied for ILR with you last year.

unemployed

Post by haleema72 » Tue Feb 04, 2020 8:25 pm

Dear All
Thank you for your reply
Can I ask you from 2015 to till dtae there are some periods of unemployment with my husband as my dependant ?
So do I need to attach his current employment status which is 6 months only as he was unemployed prior to that.
will my current employement status be enough ?to support his ILR application.
Thank you for you help

No.

Living together

Post by haleema72 » Wed Feb 05, 2020 7:03 am

Dear all
Many thanks
I wanted to ask my husband and I only share the council tax and bills from 2018 .
Prior to that from 2014 all bills and tenancy agreements and council tax bills are in my name .
So how can I prove the home office of our living together ,shall I submit my marriage certificate or they can look into their records from 2014 when we came together .

My eldest daughter was 14 when she came in but now she is over 18 can she still be my dependent do I need any separate documents for her thank you.

Kind regards for your previous answers .

You need cohabitation evidence for the last 2 years, not the whole 5 years.

Yea, we daughter provided she is not leading an independent life and you have the documents asked for.
