Children born outside UK indefinite Leave after being in UK for 10 years

Post by Lamoke » Sun Feb 09, 2020 10:15 am

Hi,
I am a new member on the forum. I congratulate the administrators on the great service you are rendering via this forum.
I require assistance regarding an application I want to make.
I came as a student and later obtained indefinite Leave after spending 10 years in 2018. My wife and child joined me as my dependants and completed their 10 years last year. My wife has applied for indefinite and I could not include our child's then due to financial constraints.
Now I am ready to make the application for my child (under 16) for indefinite leave having spent 10 years in the UK as me and my wife, without any breaches, what form and category would I make the application?
On the Home Office Website, under the question "What's your situation?", which of the following should apply in my child's case? [This will determine the form we shall complete.]
[1] You're the family member or partner of someone who has settled in the UK
OR
[2] You've been in the UK legally for 10 years (Long Residence)
Thanks in advance for your kind response.

Hi Vinny, Thanks for your response.
Please can you tell me the evidence required in each option?
They have lived with me in the UK for 10 years legally. I have all the letters from Home Office regarding the renewals and passports.
