Hey guys,

On Thursday my friend received the invite for the ceremony on the March 2 but no time on!

She send the 950 and the GNIB and to pics on January 13th.

She received the letter and they returned the GNIB and now they are asking her to send the GNIB back before the 21st to confirm her attending at the ceremony.

I did pay my on January 10th and the letter was received on the 13th. But for me nothing yet.
That is what I expected...
Nobody understands what they are doing in Tipperary Citizenship Section.
I did same as you. On 9th of January I sent IRP card , 950 fee and 2 photos and no any explanation even what is going on over there.
And woman you wrote got even IRP card back...
That means she asked them for a card before she would get Invitation for oath.
Any way. Tomorrow and after tomorrow Invitations will fly through Post men around entire country.
Elections are finished.
So, it is time for us now.
Trust me.
All the Best to everyone!
Hi, lads
Dreams come true.
I got invitation.
on 02nd of March at 12.30pm.
Congratulations to all who will receive it today and tomorrow!!!
See you all in Killarney!!!
Hooray!!!!
Congrats. Really happy for you :)

Good afternoon!

Still 10 Feb 2020

Not received invite today!

May be tomorrow

Tomorrow will be another day, a new beginning.........

Congratulations to all those who received invites tomorrow.

I have send all docs and fee and old GNIB,
But the Cork Gardi immigration did applied for my new GNIB card when they were extending my stamp? Would that makes any difference,

I did asked them not to but as per them if they renew stamp they have to complete the process by applying for new card.... I have not read anything like this on this forum with other colleagues in a similar situation.

Cork is well known fir their wisdom any way,

Any one any thoughts, anyone from cork received invites?

Based on the March 2 ceremony arrival time of 1230 are we thinking there will just be one per day not two like in December? The afternoon ceremony started later in December with arrival time of 13:15. And there was one in the morning before but I cannot remember the start time. It was bedlam in the car park before and after too.
Curious what everyone thinks. Could it be just one ceremony each of the days?

Minimum 7000 people would receive Invitations for that two days!!!
I think it would be 2 ceremonies per day (so it is 4 ceremonies per 2 days), and totally it is around 2000+2000 people per day, and totally sum is 8000 people per 2days.
As many times people wrote here that around 25000-27000 people were waited for their invitations since July 2019 when collapse happened with court's law.
So, it is not enough.
But step by step everyone from that 27000 would get Irish CitizenShip very soon.

If you are right, it would be 1 ceremony per day, cause in December it was madness.
My wife was over there for ceremony at 13.15pm.
And before 13.15pm it was early Ceremony at 11.00am.
So, if they want to give 8000 people Irish
CitizenShip Naturalization Certificate it would be 2 Ceremonies per day, and totally 4 Ceremonies per 2 days, 2nd and 3rd of March.
If it is not.
So, 1 ceremony per day and 2 ceremonies per 2 days.
It is much easy and calm.
We will see it very soon.
Even Live video stream in YouTube will show it.
Good luck to everyone!!!

I agree with you. I would expect if they are doing two ceremonies a day that we shall soon see folks getting times other than 1230. They say not to arrive early but like you said the 13:15 was bedlam. My husband said if he hadn't arrived early he would have been late getting parked and to the desk on time so do allow for that. Took 45 minutes+ to deal with the car park in and out. Overflow is a muddy field (so don't wear your best shoes!).

It's all very exciting though that it's finally happening. Hopefully everyone here gets their invite! It promises to be a very emotional day.

Hi All,

Long time lurker. Finally decided to register today.

Applied in Dec 2018 (initially in 2016 but was denied due to residency gap). Approved in Nov and sent my IRP card and €950 in Dec.

Didn’t get an invite yesterday, soon hopefully.

Did anyone that received approval letter in December receive an invitation letter yesterday?

I’m trying to gauge how they send them out. I thought those that missed Dec ceremony would’ve gotten their letters first but I don’t think that’s the case.

The letter that I received yesterday is for March 2 but 10am is my arrival time. Does it mean that there will be ceremony in the morning?

Hi. I am from Dundalk. No invitation yet.
Got the aproval in November, but because I wasn't able to attend the 9th December ceremony, I payed the 950 later on 3 of January. Hope to get invited to the March Ceremony.

Hi all,
Did anyone receive the invitation letter today?
Apparently there will be 2 ceremonies on 2nd of March, perhaps there will 2 cerimonies on 3rd as well. So far invites have only been sent for the the 2dn of March.
Let's keep our hopes up. Congratulations to everyone that has been invited. It's probably been a long and filled with anxiety journey, just like mine. What a torture! 😅 😅
