Visitor visa documents

Hi,
My brother is going to apply for his first visitor visa to come and visit me. He is going to support himself here financially and I am only going to provide accommodation. He has asked me to provide my bank statements with other documents as well. I am the a sole- director of a company and get money back as dividend. I do not have enough money in my personal bank account now. Can I show company’s bank statements instead? It has got my name on it as well?
What document do I need to provide in general?

If he is supporting himself financially, you don't need to show your own finances. You need to show you have an accommodation to share with him. So you can drop in a rental agreement and some bills, plus a letter explaining you are happy to accommodate him.

He will need to show proof of funds/finance.
