After six months of waiting recieved a letter from Home Office that decision hasn't been made yet due some biometric issues so I need to get it done again, in the letter mentioned that I might wait another 3 month or even more.
It is very painful 😣 to keep waiting for something with unknown outcome, but I am so optimistic for you that the HO decision will be positive since they asked you to re-enroll your biometric details. Keep hope in and kick any bad illusions way of your head🥴

Hello guys,
As many of you I will have to apply to get ILR for me and my family this year, I have some questions that I will like to ask.

1) what kind of documents do it need to summit whit my application?
2) Do I need a solicitor for go throgth the whole process?
3) if I do need one , how much do they charge ?
4) I seen people saying need to summit proof of work , bank staments, and new evidence showing my life and family still in danger , is all this true ? As after almost 5 year I have no more communication with my original country.

Thank you.

Just your biometric resident permit and travel document...and yeah ur country passport if you still have it on you....

No need for payslips or anyother documents...

Application is pretty straight forward....you could fill it yourself and book an appoint for biometric online....

Use a solicitor if there is any complications in your application ....as in anything changed since u were granted leave...

Hi guys,

I am applying next week for ILR, and I need some help regarding changes in home country. Did change of government may impact on an application while system of the country still pretty the same? Do I need a solicitor as @jesse8 suggested for any change? Thanks for taking time to respond to my query.

If your asylum was political directly because of the govt then with its changing it may affect your continuity of protection. But if it wasnt because of govt then its changing doesnt have any impact on your asylum.

Hi guys,
I had applied for my ILR - SET (P) in beginning of May 2019 and I'm still waiting for ILR.

Applied for ILR Route : SET(P)
Date application sent : 02-05-2019
Document received by HO : Online
Ack letter received (if applicable) : Email received on 03-05-2019
Biometric Letter received : Email received on 05-05-2019
Date Biometrics Enrolled : 23-05-2019
Payment Debited : NA
Approval/Refusal Received : Still waiting
BRP Card Received : Still waiting
Today 6 months have been completed, no update received yet. I've contacted HO over the phone, the person at call centre said there is no service standard for SET (P) applications however I should have received within SIX months. They've asked me to write a letter to UKVI asking for update. So.......... I'm going to write a letter now.
Update:
I was just about to write a letter today but received letter from HO, saying they aim to process all applications within 6 months but my application has caused some complexity and that they'll process it within 3 more months. (new date given 01 Feb 2020)
So... God willing I shall now wait another 3 months.

So, nothing received at all. No correspondence. The revised date of 1 Feb2020 had been long past. It's very frustrating to be honest.
