Hi everyone and congratulations to those who have recently received their citizenship approvals. I applied in Jan 19, received request for bank draft end of Jan 20 and finally got the invitation today for 2:30pm ceremony on Tuesday 3rd March. If there is anyone here attending the same ceremony who is not using their guest invitation and would be kind enough to pass on to me that would be great!

It looks like immigration website was updated, next ceremonies will be in Spring 2020. Previously it was said by the department beginning of the the year. According to immigration website:

"The next day of citizenship ceremonies is scheduled for Spring 2020. Details will be published here when confirmed.'

My invite arrived this morning (wahoo!)
Applied Feb 2019
Confirmation issued 26 Jan
€950 sent 30 Jan
Invite received 20 Feb for 3 March 2:30pm

Approval letter in Bold clearly states that you should notify office immediately if the details as recorded are incorrect

If u born outside Ireland then on forms they use name of ur country not ur city name or nationality.

Invite received 19th Feb for 3rd March 2:30pm

I know the invite clearly says adult ticket, but does anyone know if its possible to bring a young baby under 1. Will contact them anyway for clarification but just wondering if you guys knew.

why should he. If you are born in any country doesnt mean you have to be citizen of that country. Im German but born in Austria. Never had austrian citizenship regardless I lived in Austria for 18 years. :)

No my parents they were lived in iraq for few years and i was born there then we went back to iran when i was 4 Years old. i dont have any Iraqis documents , and in all my iranian documents also irish driving licence and my GNIB , my place of birth is Iraq and my nationality is Iran
but when I got the approval letter for Country of birth and Country of nationality they put Iran only,

so if they put Iran as place of birth on my Naturalisation Certificate thats mean all my other id including Driving licence will be invalid and i may have problem when i apply for irish passport

Did u send email to citizenship? U need to write the reference number which u got on ur invitation letter like 23D31.
Whenever I send email for my friend case we always get reply quick or late.

Incase if they dont reply back then show them same email on citizenship ceremony day and let them know u want to continue to take oath and they can fix it after and send u new certificate of nutralization after that.
Or when u get certificate on ceremony day it might be already changed.
