Anyone still waiting for the invites for March ceremony ? Hope we all receive today. Fingers crossed.
I still hope to get one. Got my approval on 29/01(dated 26/01). Hoping it just takes longer to get it delivered to NI.

Same thing happened to me yesterday, the letter didn't come in the morning when post man delivered some letter, it was yesterday afternoon around 2:00pm that my invitation letter was delivered to me.
I think is not a regular post man that is delivering the letter.

why should he. If you are born in any country doesnt mean you have to be citizen of that country. Im German but born in Austria. Never had austrian citizenship regardless I lived in Austria for 18 years. :)
so do u think if u get irish naturalisation certificate will they put Austria for Country of birth or Germany!
if they put Germany for u that's mean u have the same problem with me!
Did u send email to citizenship? U need to write the reference number which u got on ur invitation letter like 23D31.
Whenever I send email for my friend case we always get reply quick or late.

Incase if they dont reply back then show them same email on citizenship ceremony day and let them know u want to continue to take oath and they can fix it after and send u new certificate of nutralization after that.
Or when u get certificate on ceremony day it might be already changed.
i send them email yesterday and just now they responded this

Thank you for your email. I have been informed by the relevant area that
they have amended your country of birth to Iraq as requested and that this
will appear on your naturalisation certificate.

Regards

so my problem solved 😍 thank u

I hate to say this but I think they are done with invitations for March ceremonies...It is a torture to wait for anything from the system that lacks consistency. When you hear that people who only got their approval letters after the date your fees and photos have already reached Tipperary and they received invitations to March ceremony and you haven't... you begin to wonder what is wrong with your application and why there is no invite for you... And funny enough the office says they won't reply to the queries regarding the upcoming ceremony (and they were true to their statement, no replies have been received to my numerous emails) which happened to be the most heated subject of discussion in recent weeks and generates the most of the questions and requests. Sorry for being pessimistic, but I think it is better not to feed yourself with hope now. Yes, and the one always think their case problem is the most important, I only can imagine what people waiting from 2017 feel...

Thanks , i completely get what you are saying. I still have hope by looking at the pattern of invites sent last 2 weeks ( batches - Tuesdays and Wednesdays) . There is a possibility that last set of invites might be sent by Wednesday week. If we don’t receive by then , we are sure to be out of this ceremony and no idea when will be the next. We will be grounded with no office travel document ( GARDA Card) to travel out and in of Ireland. Fingers crossed and hope there is an end to the wait.
