IHS Fee Payment issues

Post by shanth2525 » Fri Feb 07, 2020 9:49 am

HI ,

I have got an approved COS under tier 2 General for 3 years. I had filled the visa application form for myself and my spouse and 2 kids. After completing my application I was directed to the IHS fee. Since I am under shortage occupation I had calculated the discounted amount of USD 1600 instead of USD 1800. I made the payment and got the IHS reference number.

But after filling up the dependent visa application form for my spouse and kids I was directed to IHS fee and there most of the fields have been auto populated. and few details it has asked me to fill.

I had no issues with details of my depentant applicant but after that it is asking me to fill the expiry date of my visa under the section:

"You're joining or remaining with this person in the UK"
My question is ,
1. The dependent is in Srilanka and I the main applicant is also in Sri Lanka and we are applying for visa together.
2. Under this section it is asking me for the expiry date of the main applicant, but I have not applied for the visa yet how can I get the expiry date of the visa.
3. This is a mandatory field and not allowing me to go further
4. When I have entered a dummy expiry date , the IHS fee is calculated as normal fee and not shortage occupation.

I have selected the right Link to fill in the dependent visa application
( https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... visa-Below is the link type/dependant_ga=2.87880728.1096606125.1580904202-1266344702.1580755634)

I had no problem in filling up my details and payment has been done, I am the main applicant, but I am not able to proceed for my dependents can u please guide

Don't say you are joining the main applicant. The main applicant is not yet in UK. You must just apply the same way you did for yourself (the main applicant) and pay appropriate IHS fee.

The field "You're joining or remaining with this person in the UK" is by default appearing and their is no option of amending it. it is capturing all the information from the visa application.

I have checked the entire application and no where I have mentioned that I am in UK , we have clearly selected the optioning travelling together.
