SET O - Tier 2 + Tier 1 - Application Form Questions

Post by aby00156 » Thu Jul 04, 2019 12:07 pm

Hi

I will be applying my ILR on Tier 2 G basis ( Combination of 2.5 Years on T1 and 2.5 Years on Tier 2)

1. I had a Tier 2 refusal in March or April 2014 before switching to Tier 1. I don't remember the exact month. On the form it asks to mention then the month and year of refusal. Is it OK if I put an approximate month or it should be exact month.

2. I will be submitted the bank statement from 20th june to 1st July as my salary was credited on 25th June. Is it OK if I submit only 10 day bank statement (as its my current account statement and has nearly 10 - 15 pages for one month bank statement) OR it must be a full one month bank statement.
So verily, with every difficulty, there is relief.

1. Yes
2. You simply need to show that latest salary slip transaction

Many thanks for the prompt answer.

Since I am applying ILR by combining Tier 2 and tier1; on the application form there is no mention of my initial Tier 1 visa, All it asks for is Tier 2 Documents. Is this normal or am I missing something.
So verily, with every difficulty, there is relief.

It is normal. You are applying based on tier 2. The rules simply allow you to combine the two categories.

Company name changed Tier 2 ILR

Post by aby00156 » Wed Jul 17, 2019 7:56 am

Hi All,

I hope anyone can answer my query.

I am due to apply for ILR this month end.

The comany I work for ( sponsor) had chanaged its name few years back. All its documentation is with the new name. They even applied for the Tier 2 sponsorship licence with the new name.

But they still use the old name on their bank / HMRC account. Hence all the payslips have the companies old name. Also the money received in my bank account has ompanies old name in the transaction.

For example :
The companies old name : SUB TECHNOLOGY LTD
Companies new name : SUB SYSTEMS PLC

Now as I have to submit the payslip and the bank statement for ILR, will this company name issue cause any problem ? OR Can I overcome this by providing any additional documentation from the company
So verily, with every difficulty, there is relief.

Mine was a similar situation. I drafted the company's cover letter and mentioned this change of name in there and got it printed and signed by HR on the company's letter head. I don't think it should be an issue. My ILR bio metrics is scheduled for this Friday so maybe you can get this re-confirmed with the admins.

Get the HR to explain that on the letter to confirm that they are issuing the payslips with the old name

Jashds - Please do let me know your outcome. Are you applying for priority service or the standard one.

YES

Should not be a problem as long as the payslip and the transaction in the bank statement is same and from the employer.
So verily, with every difficulty, there is relief.
