another thing i am worried about is that i moved out to another city for few weeks the family i m sharing with is on holidays abroad i don't hv access to the main address untill 15 august. however i have given my new address as correspondence address on the hsmp form, they sent acknowledgement i received was at my main address where i applied from? then i arranged redirection with royal mail to new address but not sure if they can redirect official mail ?????????? plz help

You can withdraw your spouse's application. You need to speak to the CC, they will tell you the details.
Having said that, I believe you have enough reasons for your case being treated as urgent. You speak to HO people again regarding the urgent treatment. Make sure your letter clearly describes your case so that in can be treated urgently.

Put your own signature for your infant dependant - that will be enough.

I have read on one of the other forums that it is taking upto 3 weeks to get the passports stamped after the approval and also other people are having difficulties in getting through to CC.

applied on 10th June still waiting...finally got hold of somebody on phone and surprisingly, he said case worker has put a note asking latest bank statements in July sometime.

i was never been contacted on the same. anyhow dispatching statements by special delivery right now.

Total inefficient system!!

also i wonder why they need statements as mine were fine - issued on 15th May and were covering 3 months. so it's within 1 month of applying i.e. 10th June..

Even I was informed that a note has been put on my case on 16th July as waiting for 2nd set of bank statement. But later when I chased them to clarify this as I had already sent 13 months bank statement then they said the note was put by mistake. Don't know what they are upto.

Here are my time lines
Applied on 5th June
Received by HO on 6th June
Reference letter dated 6th june received on the same date

HO posted the visa documents back to me on 25th July but some how I missed to collect the parcel and its been sent back to HO.

I called HO and they confirmed the same status and advised me that they will re send the parcel to me, the moment they receive from Royal mail. Eagerly waiting for the parcel.

I spoke to them again on 30 th of Aug and they said they will send the parcel to me with in 2 days but I have not received anything. I tried calling them everyday since then but all the times I was unlucky. Beleive me I am calling them not less than 60 to 70 times a day but nobody are lifting the phone. In fact I even sent a mail and fax also but no replies

The most urgent thing is I have to go to India with in a week due to most urgency, I dont know what to do.

Any advise on this regard is highly appreciated, please some one throw some light on this issue.

Tension is growing day by day...

Most annoying thing is you wait for 15 minutes then bang !!! you get disconnected...

This forum is a big support. So Thank you very much to all...

I applied on 20th of June but I forgot to send the Police Certification, caseworker asked for it, I've sent it on monday. It's confirmed that has been received. Today I sent an email kindly asking if it's possible learn when a decision is made and when documents to be sent to my address so i can make sure someone will be at home. I've been told the decision is made and documents sent to relevant team and they're not allowed to confirm the outcome of the decision. I will be informed when i received the documents...

Has anybody had a similiar issue? Do you think it's bad or good Smile Because i've read that many people have been told by their caseworker that their application is approved.
