Citizenship referee

Post by Ali272 » Sun Dec 29, 2019 9:32 pm

Can a director of a limited company be my referee? The company is NOT VAT registered and the director is not British.

Thanks a lot!

Thanks.

Why no? Director of a limited company is in that list. Does the company have to be VAT registered?

The no wasn’t supposed to be in my answer. On the list is:

Director of a limited company.

Thank you.

Last question please. The director is younger than 25 and is a foreign national. Is that ok?

Thanks a lot!

The British referee should be over 25 or a professional.

Referee form photo

Post by Ali272 » Wed Feb 26, 2020 6:24 pm

The referee form says that my name and date of birth needs to be written on the back of the photo. Who should write these? Me or my referee?

Thanks a lot!

Yes. Scan bio and visa pages from passport(s).

Thank you.

I have an appointment next week and these are the documents I'm submitting:

1. Passports
2. BRP
3. Life in the UK
4. Degree certificate
5. Two referee forms
6. HMRC self employed statement of account

Thats's all. Is that right? There is no need for bank statements or council tax or any other additional documents? Am I right?

Thank you so much!

No need for bank statements (not accepted anyway) or council tax bills. Your list is ok.
