Query for 2018 Applicant(Kamalmerchant) who recently got approval

Hi,

I applied in May 2018 and still did not get my approval (Stamp 1-4 basis). I saw a user 'Kamalmerchant' form Pakistan get approval on 27th Feb'2020. Can you please guide how you get the approval ? Did you apply for FOI or threat letter from Solicitor or you just get the approval in the normal way?

It looks like they are delaying Paksiatni citizen's applications.

There are thousands of people getting approved. Most of them are approved within a year. Your question does not really make sense. The vast majority of them never had a need to apply for an FOI.

If you believe your application is being delayed without justification, you can request for an FOI and possibly judicial review. Why asking someone else who is a complete stranger?

I applied in May 2018 and still, it is in process. So, it is nearly 2 years I have applied.
So, I am asking if anybody can suggest, Should I wait OR apply for FOI or hire a solicitor to send the letter to Dpt of justice and start JR process?

I saw in the 2018 timeline, someone similar to my case got approval yesterday - when I posted this same question for him in the timeline thread, Admin removed my question, so that is why I posted this question here.

You apply for FOI by yourself. There is no need to wait. You can and you should do it now, if you don't think there is any reason that they are holding your application up.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome from the FOI, you should get a lawyer and threaten DOJ with a judicial review.

just got the approval in the normal way.. I sent them a email in December and they said my application is waiting on minister table for his approval and 2 days ago I got approved
