Applying for naturalisation of child but existing BRP has expired.

Post by milsha1110 » Tue Mar 10, 2020 10:30 pm

Hi,
Myself and my wife ate both ILR holders. My son is 3 yrs. and born in UK. I am currently applying for his naturalization and citizenship next week. However I am faced with a dilemma, His BRP has expired on 4th feb 2020 . Will this have any impact on his application for naturalization and british citizenship ? If so what is the impact and is there any solution to resolving this issue. Any advise on this will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Children who born in UK do not fall under immigration control until.or unless if they need to leave / enter in the UK. You can go ahead with his application without any kind of stress.
