Universal credit on EU Settled Status

Hi all,

I have EU settled status and currently employed. I use public transport to get to work but due to pandemic, I am avoiding undergrounds and buses. Since I don't have my private transport so it may result in loosing my job. Am I eligible for Universal Credit in case if I loose my job ? and will it effect on my naturalisation which is next year ?
