Extending my 2 and half year permit

Post by Msarpong » Wed Apr 01, 2020 7:02 pm

I am the sole carer for my 2 children who are British nationals. I have as a result of them been given a 2 and half years permit which I have renewed on few 2 occasions. My next renewal date is due, however, i was told of EEA Settlement Scheme which I applied and yet to hear the outcome of the application.
In the meantime, my 2 and half years status expires in few days time and wondered if I should go ahead and and renew it rather than wait for it to expire. Please assist me.

You have a right called section 3C, which is protected by it.

You mean she has to make an application to extend her previous status which expires in few days time?

I actually mean the opposite, as no application is needed.

Thanks Obie. I was worried I will become an over stayer if the Home Office refuses my EEA application since my other status would have expired. Grateful.
