Holidays after the Biometrics

Post by Ragingtiger0309 » Fri Apr 03, 2020 9:50 pm

Hi, I have booked my holidays in July a long time ago. Given this situation, hoping Biometrics will take place before 10th July, Can I fly and come back at the end of August? Kindly suggest.

Thanks

IF you can do biometrics before that date, yes you can travel - subject of course to travel restrictions, such as potentially cancelled flights, immigration & quarantine restrictions, etc, both here and elsewhere.

Thanks, I am sure I will be there for the ceremony if the application gets approved. I believe flights etc will be back on track by July/Aug, there is no travel restriction due to application I guess, that's the reason scanning of passports is allowed.

Borders closed, lock downs, etc - we have seen of lot of this lately around the world.

Scanning of passports is always allowed.

Fair point, is there any deadline for the ceremony if selected.

Withdrawal application

Post by Ragingtiger0309 » Sun Apr 05, 2020 5:59 am

Hi all, could you please share your expertise. I am a bit worried about a couple of things I mentioned in my BC application.
In 1998 and 2001- I extended my student visa at the airport by showing a letter from the university on returning back from USA. I added this under An immigration application made...... section.
I have a copy of my landing cards from HO when I requested for SAR. All history in there.

2nd point- once I withdrew my application at the British High commission in 2001 also. I mentioned this as well. It was all honest. Will it go against me cos I am giving too much information it may delay the process. Should I withdraw it and apply for a new application without these immigration record?
Thanks again
