Maintenance Fund for TIER1 Dependant

Post by mkhan83 » Thu Apr 02, 2020 3:24 pm

Dear experts/senior members
I am applying for ILR as TIER1 migrant 50k route very soon. My dependant is also extending her Visa along with me.
Maintain Requirement
£630 for 90 days for each dependant.
Question
Please confirm???
Can my dependent use her own bank statement to prove the maintenance fund. (If I don't provide my personal bank statement for maintenance)
As Gov.uk website says that dependants can also use their own bank statement for maintenance
https://www.gov.uk/tier-1-entrepreneur/family-members
Please please do confirm me
Thanks

1. Please do NOT post Tier 1 Dependent extension questions in the ILR sub forum or in you ILR topic. Post split and moved to the Tie 1 Ent sub forum.

2. Yes, 630 for 90 days for each dependent. Either yours or the dependents bank statement can be used, as the link clearly states.

Dear senior members and experts
I am a paperless customer of a bank. I also have access to Internet banking and I can download pdf files as bank statements.
These statements are showing
My name and address
My sort code and Account number
Date when statement is printed
Statement period (From xx/yy/zzzz to aa/bb/cccc)
Opening balance and closing balance
Bank Name and Logo
Recent transactions (Money In/Money Out/Balance after transaction)
Question
Do I need to stamp this statement from the bank
Thanks

Dear Senior members
I have already applied for my TIER1 Entrepreneur ILR and my dependant partner is applying for her PBS dependent extension separately. (She will be eligible for her ILR in April 2021 as she joined me in April 2016). My dependant has filled her PBS dependent extension application form by using the following link
https://www.gov.uk/tier-1-entrepreneur/family-members
I also double checked that she is filling the right visa application form and putting the right details of herself as main applicant and putting the right details of the person (of course me) she wants to remain in the UK.
At the end of the application we are directed to IHS website where the website generates IHS reference number and amount payable is £0.00
How is it possible that IHS is £0.00
As she is applying for PBS Dependent EXTENSION Application NOT for ILR
Please let me know where is the mistake is?
How it can be corrected?
Your prompt response will be much appreciated
Thanks

You need to put an expiry date three years ahead for your visa expiry, ie day month 2023 to get the correct IHS of £1200.

Thanks CR001 for your response. (You are really a PROBLEM SOLVER)
Just want to clarify few things
I have already applied for my ILR but my visa is still valid and expiring very soon in this month (April)
1) If I put my visa expiry 3 years ahead on IHS website. Will it be an issue for my Dependant in future that she supplied wrong visa expiry of the person she wants to remain with???
2) If the answer of the above question is NO then why can't I put my visa expiry only 1 year OR 2 year ahead.
Thanks CR001

1. Non-issue.

2. Because as has already been explained, the immigration rules very clearly state that a PBS dependent extension is granted for 3 years. You CANNOT choose a lesser time. Ho will only process the visa s per the immigration rules.
