ILR application online (SET M)

Post by t2momodu » Sat Feb 15, 2020 2:39 pm

Good Afternoon Gurus (Zimba)

Can you kindly advise the earliest date I can apply for indefinite leave to remain as the spouse/partner of a British Citizen (settled person).

My UK spouse visa was granted here in UK on 18.04.2015 and my extension of this spouse visa has an expiry date on the Biometric residence permit of 15.05.2020

18.04.2015 to 18.04.2020 is 5 years or 60 months - so do i apply for ILR 28 days after clocking 5 years (i.e 28 days after 18.04.2020) or within 28 days of 18.04.2020??

Thanking you in advance.

You can apply no earlier than 28 days before completing 5 years on your spouse visa and no later than the expiry date on your BRP.

Effects of 3 Parking tickets on ILR and Citizenship Application

Post by t2momodu » Sat Apr 04, 2020 3:29 pm

Good Afternoon All,

I've recently submitted my for ILR on 23.03.2020 and have declared my parking tickets received as follows
1st - on 01.05.2018 £35 paid on time parked on double yellow line close to my house at 19.00hrs but still got the ticket.
2nd - 03.03.2019 £60 paid on time
3rd - 06.10.2091 £65 paid on time (parked in on a street with free parking and went to work, unfortunately, south eastern. had severe delays and the charlton football club had a match, on arrival to my the bay had a hand written note - parking restrictions from 5.00pm which weren't there when I parked in the morning enroute work)

Would these parking tickets have any effect on both my ILR application or Citizenship application??

Also, prior to meeting and getting married to my wife, my ex-girlfriend had me arrested by the police in 2014, I was asked to go and no charges were made, I did a Subject access to Metropolitan police which indicated no further action. As I already work with NHS I have never had this on my DBS - disclosure and barring service certificate (both basic and enhanced) - does this have any effect or bearing on any of my applications I.e. ILR and Citizenship.

I submitted and paid for my ILR super priority application on 23.03.2020 but still waiting to give biometrics in May 2020 which is my rescheduled date due to the covid-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown!

I am married to a British citizen and have two boys who are british.

All feedback and advise is highly welcome!

Many thanks in advance!

No PCNs have no effect

No effect
