Basically, seems like they are sending visas in batch's.

By looking at the timelines of various applicants on the forum, no one who hasnt applied for the urgent treatment for the fresh tier-1 application within UK has got there stuff back since 7th Aug.

Its the same situation as when HO went quite between 25july till 5th Aug and then all of a sudden a lot of people who applied between 1st June till 10th got there Visas except few cases. i think this week or next week will be the turn of people who applied between 10th and 20th JUNE.

Just an Observation.................

Hope this helps!

Hello,

I got a query.

My current visa is running out on 8 Sep 2008, and I still havent got the result for my tier 1 application.

Does anyone know, in case I got rejected, do I get a few months extension on my current visa?

Thanks in advance!

Looking at the situation. its pretty clear that HO sends and processes cases in batches. if you have noticed most of the passport come back on tue and wed of every week and they have been moving forward in batches from last 3-4 weeks.

There is a long delay between stamping and approvals aswell, dnt know why is that but it might be the part of there process.

Regards

call on 0114 207 4074

Choose option 1 and then 1 again.

If you choose 1 then 2, you will never get anyone on hold.

Could you also help us to ask them until which date are they processing?

Cheers

That number is not working, no matter what option you choose option 1 or 2. its another way of wasting your money and also if you send an email, the reply will come in 2 weeks saying "we cant give any case specific status but we are processing apllications recieved on so and so date( which is not the case anyways)"

I know "Patience is a virtue" but there is a limit for everything. I feel soo bad for beingin such helpless sitaution. I hate to be in this situation but there is no way out, cant complain there is no wait out. just gotta deal with it. Really frustrated.............waiting for 10 weeks now.

:(

Just to mention on the money part... try dialing 0800 587 5572 which is same as 01142074074, but comes as a free fone...

Application sent on 8th August, but BIA not received it

Post by vijayvvd » Wed Aug 13, 2008 8:43 pm

Hi
I have sent the TIER1 application thru Royal mail special delivery to following address
UK BIA
TIER 1
Millburngate House
Durham DH99 1SA.

But the satus is application reached PO Box, however waiting for collection.
When I spoke to customer care at Royal mail, they said they have instruction to put these items to PO Box.
Any body experiencing similar issue.
Is there something I need to do, I have lost 5 days til date

It is possible. Reception like this kind of organiation is just a "box" .Post man olny put mails into the box and wait for guys from ukba to collect. Then most of time you could not have a signature as we do for the normal special delivery.

Hi vijayvvd,

Dont worry about the royal mail status. Check if your payment has been taken which if its credit card/debit card should be cleared by now. The reference number might not arrive and not quite reliable.Dont worry , if the payment has gone through you havent lost any days.

Hi, Does anyone know if the Home Office would respond to an email query to conrfirm if the case worker has requested for any additional information [additional bank statements or so..]

I cant seem to get to them on the phone, and I dont want to be in a deadlock if for some reason we missed out on any letter the Home Office would have sent us requesting for additional information...!

Personally, i think it is positive because a refusal does not need to be "stamping". Just wait for it

The guy said your case is with Management now.... caseworker has done his work so your case is with the management... and no decision has been made yet.

Does any one know what does its mean..... ???

Thanks

Good news, I called the home office and wonder option 1 and 1 worked after trying for 30 mins.
The lady at other end confirmed the application has received, in fact she was patient enugh to answer for my queries.
She confirmed I can expedite , the application by faxing the proof (offer letter in uk#) and request.

Anu suggestions/Format for such expediting request.

Thanks for suggesting to wait and call ....moreover the choice of option 1 and 1 was great help

let's watch how it goes further
