Tier 1 entrepreneur visa enquiry

Post by connect2biswajit » Thu Apr 09, 2020 3:34 pm

Hi

I got approved my Tier-1 entrepreneur visa recently in Jan'2020. I have a question can my company is able to claim the 80% furlough under the current covid-19 crisis?

Much Appreciate your response in advance.

Thanks
Biswajit

Yes, there is nothing that prevents your company from claiming the 80%.

But the jobs that are furloughed will not count towards meeting your job requirements.

Have you looked at the job creation criteria at all that you need to meet for your extension/ILR. Those criteria is what I mean by job requirements.

Hi marcnath,
For the furloughed jobs, I still have the hours and the payslip. From what I've heard we are supposed to claim that money back (at least for the month of March). Since we do have the payslips with the hours, wouldn't the furloughed months count towards extension? :?

Many Thanks!

Read the link CR001 posted.
HO has clearly stated furloughed employees do not count towards that

Thanks, just saw it.
But it also says for the furloughed time you can get a further extension of the current visa (temporary extension) if the employees don't cover 12 months of the job requirement
