Congrats! My daughter's file was ready to be submitted to the Minister since December 2019 so fingers crossed will receive the approval too this month otherwise patience ..

2 January 2019 they received, in march they asked additional documents, i must also explain why my daughter was absent from the state ( every school holidays in summer for 2,5 months) and yesterday 12 march we received approval with 200 EUR and 2 photo's). Cert will be during 6 weeks.

How long does it take to get the passport and acknowledge back for child ?

I applied child application in may 2019. Now every month I get same below response.

Hi all,

I applied for my son that is 8 using Form 9. They received the paper on 10 th of March 2020!
Now questions:
1. After how much time did you got the ref number and receipt
2. After how much time did you received back the original passport and original birth certificate from the department?

Applied on 3rd March.

Received today back original passport without any reference or receipt of fee. Did not receive the original birth certificate.

Did you receive your reference number and receipts after you sent them an email requesting for it?

I just got only the passports back and mail saying that the ref no and receipt will come after when will process the papers based on ques order.

Second week of February

My daughter's application was approved on March 11 2020 but unfortunately never received the letter. Because of the corona virus situation I didn't sent emails thinking they were not actively working but yesterday sent one just to make sure it doesn't get forgotten. Received the copy of the letter by email hopefully will not cause problems the fact that will be sending the documents after the 28 days have passed but I think they will understand the circumstances.

Hi, applied early August 2019 and got approved apparently in mid March 2020. Was in advance stage since December 2019 as far as I remember.

I apply in may 2019 for my children and still waiting and waiting.

I know ... the wait sucks ... my husband applied 4 months before me and ended up receiving the citizenship 6 months after me. His application was straight forward and mine more complicated since I was out of the state more than 6 weeks and needed more proof of address than him so I guess it is just luck sometimes.
