Lost Job Due to COVID19- Needed at least 6 Month payslips

Post by allahrasool » Sat May 09, 2020 2:02 pm

need some advise guys...

my cousin has to apply for his wife's flrm in july..
he has lost job in march due to covid-19, which he had started in Oct-2019.
the company just let him go , did not even furlough him , just sacked him.

he did not have any other income in 8-9 months before this job because he was trying his luck on ebay/amazon.

what are his options now. visa expires in mid july. ( currently he is claiming UC,they have two kids too , both are British citizens )

Thanks in Advance

If he or/and his partner has earned at least £18600 during the last 12 months then he will have to find a new job asap probably in supermarket giving at least £18600 per year. Otherwise request to old employer to keep him as a furlough worker.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

no , the partner has not been working . and net total income in the last 12 months is no where near £18,600 because has only been working since Oct-2019 . what option is left now? any other visa or extension , as the applicant is wife of a British citizen and mother of two British kids ? private life , family life etc etc ? she was going to be eligible for ILR this july but the sponsor/husband lost the job due to COVID-19 .

a solicitor advised them to apply with a cover letter , showing 6 payslips before all this COVID SCENARIO and ask for discretion .
