Post by jecwool » Sun Apr 19, 2020 11:19 am

My 7 year old son was born in India. He is British. I'm looking to apply for a PIO for him, would appreciate any guidance, thank you :)

PIO was discontinued a while ago and replaced with OCI.

Do you hold a PIO (now discontinued) or an OCI card? That would make it easier if the parents have an OCI card. Can you elaborate your links to India - were you or your spouse born in India? Or maybe grandparents born in India? Were you or your spouse an Indian citizen at the time of birth?
