Universal credit

Post by scorpio00 » Thu May 21, 2020 7:03 pm

Hi,

I am on universal credit and I need to tell them my partner is living with.
My partner cannot work due to the fact we are about to do application for his ILR.

How will this affect my benefits?

As already mentioned numerous times now, your partner doesn't qualify for ilr. Anyone who tells him he does is only going to cost you a fortune and many tears.

Regardless of your partner's immigration status, you should have informed UC and the benefits office the moment he started living with you. Not informing the benefits office of a your change in circumstances can amount to benefit fraud.
