Carer Allowance - PBS Tier 1 General Dependant

Dear Members,

In need of your valuable advice again please.

Can my wife, currently on a PBS Tier 1 general dependant visa, claim carer's allowance for our British child who is in receipt of Disability Living Allowance. She is the main carer of child being at home and I am in full time employment, hoping that she can claim without affecting her ILR prospects?

Carer's allowance is a public fund.
