Hi do anyone know if you can volunteer in ireland on holiday visa?

No, you can't. You need a volunteer visa.

If you are from a country that requires a visa to visit Ireland, then no you cannot do volunteering work for more than 3 months without a proper preclearance.
I am unable to find any information with regards to short-term (less than 3 months) volunteering though.

The INIS website clearly states no work of any kind permitted, paid or unpaid. Volunteering is usually considered unpaid work, it certainly is in the UK.
