FLR(FP) + English requirement - Income threshold Issue

Post by allahrasool » Fri May 29, 2020 3:47 pm

need some advice again guys for my cousin...

he cannot meet income threshold of £18,600 and visa is expiring in one month. so applying for ILR on basis of 5 year Spouse visa is out of window.

should he be applying directly now for FLR(FP) ? or he should apply for FLR(M) as normal and the home office will automatically put them into FLR(FP) category as they dont meet financial requirement - ( the husband is British citizen and two kids are British too )

also initial spouse visa application in home country about 5 years ago was done with A1 English language certificate- is that still going to suffice or is there any new English test needs to be taken as part of this extension. one extension which was done within UK last time , A1 was accepted in that application.

Thanks

Since you are already familiar that two of the mandatory requirements in relation to flrm you can't fulfill so better to straight rely on FLRFP.
