LEAVING UK UNDER FLR(FP) AND COMING BACK

Post by allahrasool » Sun May 31, 2020 2:54 pm

Hi guys ,

if someone who has just switched from FLR(M) TO FLR(FP) in July 2020 ( due to not meeting financial requirements of Appendix 2 and has been put on 10 year route to ILR,>> moves to another country and comes back just before expiry of visa or a bit sooner if things dont work out with this move , where would that person stand in regards to immigration status.

the person in question is a spouse of British citizen and parent of British kids .
( helping a family member out , so any advise is welcome )

Flrfp visa is not only granted where someone can't fulfill the flrm's requirements but also due to having insurmountable obstacles if will have to relocate outside of UK. So by doing this it will be bit hard to convince to caseworker that you actually have any difficulty in settling outside of UK.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

FLR m is an application that can only be made within the UK and they will need evidence of UK employment and earnings.

Outside the UK, it is a spouse entry clearance visa and they still need to prove UK employment and earnings and adequate accommodation.

Yes but that will reset the ILR clock.
