You can claim UK benefits as you have settlement and your naturalisation will not be affected by you having to claim benefits during Covid-19. There is a temporary rise in the standard rate of UC of about £20 a week, that will end in April 2021.
The Universal Credit Minimum Income Floor for the self employed, is on hold a the moment because of Covid-19.

Have a look at Child Benefit too, which is nothing to do with the Universal Credit benefit. Make sure any Child Benefit claim is in your name and not that of your wife, as Child Benefit is also a Public Fund.

Your wife's earnings and capital will be used in your benefit calculation, but you cannot take extra benefit money for her as she cannot have Public Funds. Look at all the posts below yours on this topic.

And here, where it also answers your question 2, about your wife who has no recourse to public funds.

Claiming Universal Credit when self-employed

...
You must make a joint claim as a couple if you live with your partner. If one of you isn’t eligible, their savings and income will still be taken into account.

You just need to make it clear on your claim (and check when your Universal Credit is set up) that your wife isn't elegible for extra benefit money on your UC claim.

And look at the grant.

Check if you can claim a grant through the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme
