Extension Salary Requirement

Post by MalkAlkindy2020 » Mon Jun 01, 2020 12:57 am

Hello there,

I switched from tier 4 to tier 2 general two years ago. and now my employer is willing to extend my visa. However, my salary is below £30,000. My job code is 2137 and the experienced salary for this category is £25,700. My employer is not willing to increase my salary which is currently above the experienced salary for my job category but less than £30,000. Does it have to be £30,000 in order for me to extend my visa? Also, in my previous CoS my employer didn’t say that they will cover my maintenance for a month but now they are? Can they put that in the extension CoS? Also, does my employer have to pay the Immigration skills charge this time?

Thank you for your time in advance.

1] For extension, you no need to prove maintenance.
2] IHS is usually given by the applicant.

The OP is asking about the sponsor ISC not IHS.

My apologies, I misread it.

What about my first question? “Does it have to be £30,000 in order for me to extend my visa?” Any answer will be helpful.

Your salary needs to be the experienced rate indicated in the SOC.

The £30,000 minimum requirement is for new applicants OUTSIDE the UK.
