Immigration Healthcare Surcharge refund for NHS professionals

Hi forum experts team,

Boris Johnson informed today that NHS professionals who paid IHS surcharge will get refund.

If that's the case,will I be able to get the IHS refund?

I have been working for NHS for the last 8 years. Atleast I paid 3 IHS before I became British last year.

Please let me know.

You don't qualify for a refund now. It applies to those who have recently applied and paid IHS, not to the last 3 IHS payments you made years ago.

Unlikely as you are British and not on a visa route that requires all members of a migrant who is a frontline worker to apply for extensions.
