My time line is as follows
Applied 16 Oct 2019
Biometric 22nd Oct
Coa 7th Nov 2019
Additional document request 8th June 2020
My question is how long they take to make decision after sending them additional documents. As I have been waiting long enough for decision of settled status. Now it's been one week since I provided them additional documents.
Thanks in advance .

Hi guys,

just wanted to give you an update as I'd received my decision earlier this week.

My timeline:
Application submitted Feb 8th
Biometrics March 6th
COA Apr 28th
Pre-settled status granted June 15th
The biometric residence card should arrive within 10 working days

I contacted my MP on May 29th and submitted an official complaint on June 10th. I can't say for sure how much any of this helped as I still haven't heard back from any of them. I called the resolution centre several times throughout the whole period, tried speaking to a supervisor twice, however never got through - after several minutes of waiting on the line calls just got interrupted.

I wanted to share my experience as this forum had been a great support during desperate times of waiting.

I wish you all best of luck!!

I have similar case:
Paper application was received on 4th September
COA was dated 24th September.
After several calls, spoke to MP 15 May
HO replied 29th May, saying still reviewing.
Spoke to a Manager 5th June... who escalated
Spoke to another manager again 17th June and took my complain and lodge it...
Still waiting as at the time of this text...

It is so frustrating, but I believe that God will intervene fir us all who have been waiting 😊

Applied: 14 Jan 2020 via app, COA received instantly
Settled status granted: 22 June 2020

The system couldn't find any tax information about me, so I submitted P60 for 5 years and a letter from the employer confirming 5 years of employment. Also submitted marriage certificate and linked application number of my spouse who already received settled status by this date.

Called them every two weeks since mid-February with no result.

A month ago I missed a call from HO. Gave them a call back 1 hour later, resolution center confirmed that a caseworker tried to call me, but refused to connect with them. Only told me they wanted to ask the date of marriage. I said that I applied based on my BRC so they should already know everything and that I initially submitted the marriage certificate, so the question is ridiculously stupid, but still confirmed the date so it's recorded in my file.
Two weeks ago called resolution center once again and filed formal complaint with a supervisor.
This morning received the outcome.

No worries
Reading your positive outcome made me glad man
It also brought me hope cos HO also replied my MP saying my application will take longer cos I applied based on a relationship I've not depended on before even though my wife and son both have settled status.
I remember when they replied you the same way back in March, so I'm hopeful and wish everyone on this forum positive outcome.
Enjoy your freedom brother
God bless

Thanks eke and nasra.
Try calling resolution centre. I was really broken when i called them 2 days prior my status. Telling them all i am going through. This time the lady agent was extra nice and she says i have gone through your case. There is nothing wrong and you have waited long. Then she spoke to the manager while i was on call. And she told me in few hours or 2,3 days you will get your decision because manager will speak to the case worker directly today. As there is no reason for delay.
I wish i can thank that representatives. Others just happen to tell you generic lines that each case is delt individualy and it takes time etc. Key is to keep trying and fight for ur right. Best of luck my friends

Hi everyone,
I was a bit worried that I'd be stuck waiting for a status for ages given all the responses here... but for anyone looking for positive news, everything went rather smoothly. Perhaps applications are more straightforward on a EUSS Family Permit as the Home Office is already aware that you have entered the country with the intention of applying to the scheme.

Arrived in the UK (from Thailand) on a EUSS Family Permit: 29th Feb.

Application submitted: March 10

At this point, I wasn't willing to pay a hefty amount for biometrics in the city, so I booked a distant, free slot for a month away. And then along came the 'Roni, and my appointment was postponed twice. At the end of May, I received an email saying centers were re-opening and I had priority to pick a new time slot. I got one for the following workday, in the city, free of charge.

Biometrics: June 1
COA Received: June 1 (one hour after biometrics)
Decision Received: June 24 (pre-settled status)

Best of luck to you all! :) x

How long does it takes to get a decision after getting response to complain... does anyone have an idea or anyone with similar case?
