1)DBS
2)SAR from UKBA to see what the UKBA holds about me . Just wondering if they will also tell me how much time i spent outside the country and the dates as well?
3) Should i ask from HMRC about my P60's list of the last 10 or 5 years?

Also interms of documents, will i require only following documents
1)Passport and BRT
2)Payslips and bank account (3 months)
3) Life in Uk test

Please can someone let me know if anything else i will require to submit with my documents as well.

None of this is required.

You only need all passports, BRP, LIUK and English requirement.

Not necessary!! HO do their own criminality checks with other government departments. A SAR is the information HO holds on you, which they obviously have full access to.

That would only be helpful if your character and immigration history was anfractuous.

ILR 10 years route application

Post by sanaullah710 » Tue Jul 14, 2020 9:24 am

HI I am going to apply for ILR 10 years route soon, i need an advice in this case.
1) Should i apply through solicitor or its a waste of money ( if the application process is simple and straight forward)

2) Is someone within here who recently applied through 10 years wil be helpful.

I am not sure and getting too many advices which confused me, would love to hear what would be the suggestion of the experts here

You don't need a solicitor unless you want to throw money away.
2) Is someone within here who recently applied through 10 years wil be helpful.
Many people. It is not a difficult application to make. You either meet the requirements or you don't.

10 years route ILR absenties

Post by sanaullah710 » Tue Aug 18, 2020 8:39 pm

HI
I went to USA in 2015 to attend a conference there. On my passport it shows the entry to USA 09 MAY 2015 and the entry back to UK 15 May 2015, so in the online form will i have to write the date of absenty as from 09-may-2015 to 15-may-2015? Will i have to include the dates on which i left oe enter the country (UK) or not? Just confuse about it.

You should enter the entry/exit as per UK date

This has been answered many many times. You do NOT need to answer that question at all. You do NOT need to say other reasons to stay in the UK

I tried to use the UKVCAS app and it is not showing any mandatory documents, just showing the optional documents only in my case, i uploaded the BRP and passport. I give UKVCAS a call that i see only optional documents and no option for mandatory documents, so if i submit my documents will it effect my application form? They replied that i should contact UKBA and on contacting UKBA they suggested that its UKVCAS responsibiltiy to reply you through email that what is wrong with app or what i should do, then after that i can attach an extra document which should be the covering letter which mentions the email i got from UKVCAS tht there is no mandatory documents option in my app list and the case worker should consider that before making a decession.
i then sent an email (enquiry email) to UKVCAS but it will take 5 to 10 working days, i am just wondering if other people are getting the same issues or its just me?

The UKVCAS website/IDV app works like this. Do not get confused with mandatory and optional categories. Only your passport is considered to be mandatory (even though all other documents are mandatory also). Just upload them in whichever category you think fits best.

HI Cullinan thnak you for your reply, do you htink it happened with others as well? I am just wondering after paying £2500 and then coming up with an app which does not do the basics right is a bit strange, i am not sure if UKVCAS will take resposibility if my application rejected ont his basis.

It happens with EVERYONE including myself. This is how the UKVCAS website works since it was launched in Nov 2018. The IDV app works similarly.

Also note all UKVI/UKVCAS customer service agents have no knowledge about these things. Do not waste your time calling them.
