Eu3 permanent residency and breakup

Hi all,

I hope all of you are well.

I got married with my EU spouse 10 years ago in Ireland, I was on Stamp 4 EUFAM for 5 years and now have been on same Stamp PERMANENT RESIDENCY under EU law for last 4 years. Me and my spouse are separated now nd he has gone to live in another country recently.

Do I need to inform INIS?

Does he need to be living in this country in order for me to live here ? (given - I am on EU Permanent residency for 4 years now.

We have 4 children and all of them EU nationals and 4 of them living with me.

I have been on eu3 permanent residency for last 4 years and now my relationship has broken down. My eu spouse has recently moved out of Ireland. Will I be able to stay here without my eu spouse or I am in trouble?

Do I must inform INIS about change in circumstances?

Will I be able to continue my residency or not?

You should be able to stay but you absolutely do need to tell INIS and follow the steps they give you.

A person's Permanent Residence is not affected by breakdown of relationship.

In most cases that's true, but the obligation to inform a change of circumstances remains the same.
