Help --Payslip Value - £23 less than required threshold.

Post by allahrasool » Sun Jul 05, 2020 5:11 pm

a cousin is applying tomorrow for his wife's extension -flrm

he has six payslips but the first payslip value is £23 less than the minimum required threshold of £1550 per month to meet annual salary of £18,600.

but his rest 5 payslips are well over the threshold minimum requirement. so are they going to take average of all payslips ? or are they going to take the lowest payslip as his monthly salary example ?

If the financial requirement was met until march 2020 then shouldn't be any issue. Also if he wasn't earning the fixed wages rather variable then annualised average will be taken instead the lowest wage figure.
Changes to the minimum income and adequate maintenance requirement
If you’ve experienced a loss of income due to coronavirus, we will consider employment income for the period immediately before the loss of income due to coronavirus, provided the requirement was met for at least 6 months up to March 2020

If using salaried employment to meet the financial requirement under Category A:
the figure used towards the requirement will be the lowest level of annual salary received during
the 6 month period
If using non-salaried employment, the calculation is a bit different.
