D Visum (Family reunification)

Post by dave2020 » Sat Aug 01, 2020 11:53 pm

Hello everyone.
I'm Armenian citizen. My wife - is a Belgian citizen. More than five months ago I applied for a Belgium national D visa in diplomatic Moscow. The visa was approved a month ago and now it is in Moscow. (Jun 18 2020). My visa has been approved, but the embassy does not require my passport to print the visa. Several times from Moscow embassy told me that still I had to wait. How long can this condition last? It may take weeks, months, or even years? What do you think?

If it approved, then you need to ask them what is it that you are waiting for from their end to enter Belgium.

If it's an e-visa, then you should be able to print it and travel to Belgium.

With Form D visa, the longest wait is the security clearance from the host country. But as you mentioned, your visa is approved.
