Clarification on Copies of P60 or tax statements

Post by mads32 » Sat Aug 22, 2020 7:26 pm

On page 2 of the Naturalisation Form it says on item number 7:

"A letter, on headed paper, from your current employer showing the date of
commencement of employment (if applicable), and copies of 3 recent pay slips (dated
within the previous 6 months), and copies of your P60 or tax statement from the
Revenue Commissioners for each year of residence claimed.
"

P60 were abolished at the end of 2018 so that's fine, but what exactly they are looking for when they say Tax Staments from the Revenue Comissioners? Is it the PAYE/USC END OF THE YEAR STATEMENT (P21) FOR THE YEAR documents? Or maybe the Employment Detail Summary that replaced the P60?

Thanks.

As the OP has said in his post, Employment Detail Summary. It’s the replacement of P60 which you can get from your own PAYE portal.

I got a statement of liability for 2019, what can I get for the current year? In the 2020 folder I just have the tax credit certificate.

You must submit Employment Detail Summary for tax year 2019, and P60 for years before 2019. Statement of Liability (previously known as P21) is not sufficient.

You don't need to submit any tax document for the current tax year.
