Schemes to support migrants in paying IHS:
A new discounted rate for all children under the age of 18 will be introduced. This rate will also be £470 per person per year, in line with students and the youth mobility scheme.
Current rate is £400 per year and discounted one will be £470 means an increase of £70 for minors.Professionhuman wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 12:56 pmthank for reply .does that mean tgere will no increase for ihs for children under 18

It is £470 x 2.5 = £1,175Professionhuman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 5:50 amplz if some one can give me exact figure /amount for minor dependant fee increase and that for ist 2.5 year or 33 month visa .Is that 180 pound only

The IHS is based on every six months or part thereof, which means a 33 month visa is the annual amount times three: £1,410 for a child under age 18.AmazonianX wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 6:02 amIt is £470 x 2.5 = £1,175Professionhuman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 5:50 amplz if some one can give me exact figure /amount for minor dependant fee increase and that for ist 2.5 year or 33 month visa .Is that 180 pound only

The draft legislation that stated the Immigration Health Charge amendment was coming into force on 1 October 2020, has been replaced by a new draft to take into account the no IHS charge for the Health and Care visa , but that has - coming into force 2020. Does that mean the start date of 1 October could be delayed?
Old draft

Replacement

It's just a delay: as I said on the 19 September, they replaced the original draft to add in the No IHS payable for the Tier 2 General Health and Care visa.
