You can apply Feb 2021 after completing 12 months on settled status.
Regarding CSI, yes you should have had that if a student, however many EU citizens were not aware of the requirement. When/if you are asked whether you had CSI you just need to answer correctly "no" and explain why not. You will have seen a lot of discussions about this requirement, however so far there have been no cases reported where lack of CSI lead to rejection of a naturalisation application. But use your document from the uni to document that period.I was in uni from September 2015 to April 2016 and starting working in may 2016.
This one. Note that it is not an actual letter you need. The referee forms are part of the inline application that you need to complete. You then download and print them, post to your referees with a photo stuck on of you. They then sign and send them back to you so you can upload them with your documents. Is it better to wait to get them closer to the day of application?
Yes. Note also that your referees must have known you for 3 years minimum.angelbr wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 4:53 pmThanks for putting it all under one thread (didn't know it works like this!)
So I am now trying to understand the whole process and obviously I had misunderstood some nuances of it.
I am about to ask some of my acquaintances to be my referees; so, if they agree, I wait to fill the form online next year and then send it to them once I print it, right?
