Which application should i fill?

Post by Daniyar2 » Thu Sep 10, 2020 10:48 am

Hi,

Kind people, I need an urgent help.

I am an ILR holder and wanted to bring my infant baby as a dependant(she's 3 months old). My wife has already been granted the ENTRY TO LEAVE as a partner of a settled person. Which application should we fill? I have filled the application CHILD DEPENDANT OF A PARENT WHO IS APPLYING FOR (OR ALREADY HAS) PERMISSION TO BE IN THE UK AS A PARTNER however it says that I do not have to pay IHS Surcharge Fee since my daughter is under the age 18. Is this the correct application form? Do I have to pay IHS Surcharge Fee considering that my daugher is 4 months old?

Your help and assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you

IHS is still due for the child and you will likely be sent an email to pay it. Your child is not exempt.

Please do not tag your questions onto other members topics as your circumstances are different, i.e. you are NOT British.

thank you

it doesn't specify that you have to be british to ask questions in this section of the board.

No one said that. You tagged your a question, now removed, onto another members topic. The member in that topic is applying for ILE as BOTH parents are either ILR holders or British. This is not the same case as you as your wife doesn't hold ILR so your child follows the same path as your spouse and needs a child settlement visa, which is not the same as ILE.

Linked already. You are applying for a child settlement visa which will be granted in line with your spoues' visa length/expiry.

Home office refund

Post by Daniyar2 » Mon Oct 05, 2020 7:27 am

Hi,

I have filled the wrong application that we realized after paying for the application fee...We immediately cancelled the application and requested the refund. HO said that they will refund the money within 28 days and it has now been 33 days and no refund has been made. Is this normal?

How can i contact home office via phone to enquire about the payment?

Thank you very much for your assistance
