My understanding is that the financial documents submitted should be (dated) within the 28 days BEFORE the date of submission of the application though, not 28 days after submission. They can be uploaded after, but should have been dated/arisen before.

Sorry, I thought I was being crystal clear. I was trying to emphasise the point that the documents should be dated within the 28 days preceding the submission of the online application, as opposed to 28 days after the application was submitted. ("Within 28 days" didn't make that 100% clear to someone who didn't know. Within could mean 28 days before or after.). Though the documents will obviously be uploaded to the Sopra Steria/UVCAS website after the application has been submitted.

Well noted, it clears all possibilities of being misconstrued.

I tried to call them. I hadn't any luck. The number was for Canadian Immigration.

I may have to go there one day to check.
I went to VFS global (66 Wilson St, London EC2A 2JX) yesterday as I was in that area. They told me that the scanning service is not available anymore and all documents have to go to Birmingham scanning hub.
Hi, did u send your documents by post to Birmingham scanning hub? I'm confused were to send my documentation

No I didn't. I have decided to scan by myself and upload.

As far I as I know, you have two options:

1. Send all documents to Birmingham vfs scanning hub as London VFS is not offering this service anymore. In the past, people went to VFS office in person and scanned their documents there with assistance.
2. You can scan yourself and upload in one of the webiste.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi all,

Can I submit 11 'official' copy (which comes by post) of my bank statement and one that I printed off from bank when I submit my application? I normally get official bank statement on 26th of every month. I don't want to wait for the new bank statement to come in before I submit the application.

Can anyone please advise regarding the photos of wedding that required as supporting evidence.

1. How many photos I need to submit as evidence (in total)?
2. As you may know there are some pre-wedding events/ rituals in Indian weddings. In my case there were two pre-wedding event from my side and one pre-wedding event from my wife's side. These events were carried out by individual families. Hence, there are only individual pictures. Do I have to include this?

1. There is no regulation as to the numbers you can upload (if self uploading)
2. Include some pictures from there.

Are there any restrictions with self uploading (in terms of file size and file format)

As many as possible that are relevant to the application ( so you don't confuse the caseworker),they must also be legible.

That is the size of each document you are uploading, not the total size of everything you have as evidence for upload.

Yes. That would have been a impossible task if the total size is 6 MB. I am already struggling :)

App like ilovepdf can come handy in helping to reduce size while retaining integrity of document legibility.

Pictures are very large in size as it was taken professionally. I managed to get all wedding pictures sorted. I had to split them into three parts.
