Names Differ in different docs

Hello,

I have a doubt regarding my names in different docs:
My passport: Has my complete name say ... Amit Kumar Devendra Das
Degree certificate: Has initials of first three say ... A K D Das
Bank Statements: Amit K D Das

But the good (satisfying for me) thing is that all the docs have the four names listed and in the same order.

I have not attached an affidavit with my application, can this be a problem?

Hello,

good to know that all the initials are same across the documents.. in my case most of the times my first name was spelt incorrectly in degree documents. I had made an affidavit way back and attached this affidavit with the Tier 1 application form and made a point in the application cover letter. While your case doesn't demand any affidavit , however it would help if you explain ur point in the application cover letter.

Hope that should not be a problem, in my case apart from my application and degree certificate (which have full name written on it) all other documents like payslips, bank statements had Initials of my first name and middle name. And I didn't provide any affidavit.

As they're all the same except for the initials used in different documents, you shouldn't need an affidavit. Simply mention it in your cover letter.
